An all-electric heat pump replaces your gas boiler, lowers your energy use and can qualify for the national ISDE subsidy. Energie Morgen advises and installs across the Netherlands in English, so you understand whether your home is suitable, what it costs and which subsidy and financing apply.

In short: As an expat homeowner in the Netherlands you can replace your gas boiler with an all-electric heat pump and qualify for the ISDE subsidy, which lowers the upfront cost. Energie Morgen advises and installs in English nationwide, from a heat-loss assessment of your home to commissioning. Energy-saving measures like this can also be financed through the Nationaal Warmtefonds at 0% interest for households with a combined taxable income up to €60,000.

Why a heat pump — and why in English with us

  • Get off gas. An all-electric heat pump heats your home without natural gas, cutting your gas bill and your carbon footprint.
  • ISDE subsidy. An all-electric heat pump can qualify for the national ISDE subsidy, which lowers your upfront investment.
  • 0% financing available. Energy-saving measures can be financed via the Nationaal Warmtefonds at 0% interest for households with a combined taxable income up to €60,000, with terms from 7 to 20 years.
  • Advice without the language barrier. We assess your home, explain suitability and insulation needs, and install — all in English, with our own engineers.

Is your Dutch home suitable for a heat pump?

An all-electric heat pump works best in a reasonably well-insulated home, because it delivers heat at a lower temperature than a gas boiler. During the advice call we look at your insulation, your radiators or underfloor heating and your hot-water needs, and tell you honestly whether an all-electric heat pump is the right step now or whether insulation should come first. Everything is explained in English so nothing is lost in translation.

Costs, the ISDE subsidy and financing

The investment depends on your home and the unit, and the ISDE subsidy reduces the upfront cost for qualifying all-electric heat pumps. On top of that, the Nationaal Warmtefonds finances energy-saving measures at 0% interest for households with a combined taxable income up to €60,000 (4.02%-4.52% otherwise, depending on the term), with terms from 7 to 20 years. Our advisor maps out the total cost, the subsidy you can claim and the monthly financing in English.
